Sunny Ahluwalia Charitable Foundation organized Investiture Ceremony of Road Safety Ambassadors in Tulsi Public School School, Ambala City on 12.10.2017. The school had nominated its best and most talented students for the cause. The SACF Vice President Mrs. Honey Preet Ahluwalia, Road Safety Program Head Sharol Ahluwalia and its voluneers Shubham Negi,Sanjul, Riya,Navjeet Harvinder Pal Kaur were present. Honey Ahluwalia gave a brief introduction of NGO and its mission. She explained that SACF wants to CATCH THEM YOUNG in the formative years only, so that they grow into responsible citizens with a human touch. Our world needs smart and sensible road users.
Road safety ambassadors will lighten the lamp of awareness via the road safety activities in team. They will do it in their schools and public places as well to create road safety awareness among students, parents , elders and general public.
Mr. Shubham Negi introduced details of 3 months road safety program which these ambassadors will conduct during the next three months and that is from October 2017 to Dec 2017. Ms. Sharol Ahluwalia conducted the pledge taking ceromony. The whole school took part in the road safety Pledge
There was a song performnce by the students to enlighten up the whole program.
Mr. V.K Sharma the Chaiman of the School introduced students the background of Sunny Ahluwalia Foundation and its work towards a noble cause. He also shared the fond memories of young boy sunny Ahluwalia who dedicated his life purly to humanity by working with Rotary Club etc.
The road Safety coordinator of the School Ms. Ravinder Kaur delivered a motivational speach to engage students towards safety and take part in NGO's future program.
