Investiture Ceremony of Road Safety Ambassadors of Sohanlal DAV School took place in the morning Assembly on 07.11.2017. The SACF Vice President Mrs. Honey Preet Ahluwalia, and its voluneers Shubham Negi,Sanjul, Riya Gulati, Navjeet and Deeksha Sethi were present. Honey Ahluwalia gave a brief introduction of NGO and its mission. She explained that SACF wants to CATCH THEM YOUNG in the formative years only, so that they grow into responsible citizens with a human touch. Our world needs smart and sensible road users. These volunteers are called Road Safety Ambassadors.
Road safety ambassadors will lighten the lamp of awareness via the road safety activities in team. They will do it in their schools and public places as well to create road safety awareness among students, parents , elders and general public.
Mr. Shubham Negi introduced details of 3 months road safety program which these ambassadors will conduct during the next three months and that is from October 2017 to Dec 2017. A road safety pledge also was taken by students of the school.
The Principal of the school Mrs. Anita introduced Sunny Ahluwalia Foundation and its mission to the whole school . She also assured NGO for her support to cooperate with its future programs
