Sunny Ahluwalia Charitable Foundation organized an Investiture Ceremony of Road Safety Ambassadors in all the partner schools. All the six partner schools had nominated their best and most talented students for the cause. The SACF Vice President Mrs. Honey Preet Ahluwalia was present. She gave a brief introduction of NGO and its mission.
She explained that SACF wants to CATCH THEM YOUNG in the formative years only, so that they grow into responsible citizens with a human touch. Our world needs smart and sensible road users. Almost 2000 Students of all the partner school took the road safety pledge.
The foundation has chosen 95 volunteers for this mission These volunteers are called Road Safety Ambassadors.
Road safety ambassadors will lighten the lamp of awareness via the road safety activities in team. They will do it in their respective schools and public places as well to create road safety awareness among students, parents , elders and general public.
NGO’s School Road Safety Program Head Ms. Sharol Ahluwalia and Road Safety program coordinators Mr. Amarjeet Singh,Mr. Shubham Negi, Ms.Sanjul Johar, Ms. Riya, Mr. Navjeet and Deekha Sethi motivated the students to work for the cause and given a detailed introduction of 3 month activities to students of all these six schools.
It was conducted in morning assembly in all the schools. Students were attentive, they took road safety pledge. The students showed lots of enthusiasm to work for the cause, road safety.
The ceremony culminated by wishing best wishes to all students for their future activities. Sunny Ahluwalia Foundation is highly obliged to all the schools for their whole hearted support.
