Youth & Road Safety Workshop
Venue: SD College Ambala Cantt,

(16th December, 2020)

The pandemic made the lives of people topple around the world. Road accident deaths were still one of the main causes of death in our country when this time arrived.

A workshop on Youth & Road Safety was organized by The Sunny Ahluwalia Foundation in association with SD College. Approximately 150 students were part of this event. It was a very informative event. A PowerPoint presentation on Youth & Road Safety was presented by Ms. Rama, a volunteer of NGO.

She gave a lecture on the topic, 'Why The Youth are Particularly at Risk,' & presented statistical facts in a precise manner. This made all students remain attentive and alert. A quiz on road safety was held and the students participated quite well by giving the right answers. Prizes were distributed to winners.

Prof. Tajinder Sing and Prof. Zeenat inspired students with impactful speeches on road safety.

Impactful videos were played to make students realize how the careless attitude of people on road can lead to serious accidents. All students, NGO volunteers, and college staff present there took a pledge to follow traffic rules. The foundation distributed road safety rule-books to students, as printed by the Haryana Police.

Relevant Authorities present on this occasion were:

Dr. Rajinder Singh, Principal SD College, Ambala Cantt.
